Here's my quirky rendition of a watercolor painting I found on . Why quirky, you ask? Well, it's not symmetrical, and is a little bit warped on the far side of the front window but all of it somehow adds to the charm, doesnt it?

As promised in my story yesterday, here is something really cool (if I say so myself) that I've tried for the first time.
Bear with me while I tell you why this is an important shift for me. I've been on this course to learn and illustrate things that I see or love. I'm greatly inspired by (who has phenomenal classes in skillshare, btw) and but I've never tried it so far, blaming it in a number of things but mostly I've chickened out, scared to try new things. I've been comfortable in my own space. This piece may not be the best but I love it still!
I have lofty ideas of where I should be going with art but have been reluctant in putting the effort. This marks a change in that attitude. I have big plans and I'm gonna do it, starting here.
If you've read the whole thing and are here 👏🏼. Also, thank you and let me tell you, you're a part of keeping me accountable. You help me move forward, wanting to make better art. So, thank you!

PS: why macarons for my first illustration? Coz I miss the delicious goodies my friend used to make for our team at work! This is for you, Parhaum 😁 @ InfoPark, Kochi

One of the things I love most about is that I can make any number of alterations to something I make without losing the original. Here’s an example! Tell me which one you like best.

Hello my lovely instafam! I’ve been away for too long, trying to get through this thing called life. It’s been a busy busy time, juggling a million things AND a tiny baby at the same time. I’m not complaining at all, I have a lot of help at home but let me tell you it’s a lot of work. All this has taught me that single parents and parent couple who do it without any help - you guys are freaking rockstars!
Now that being said, my iPad and are my saviors when I have these rare bouts of peace and quiet. Here is one such attempt I made yesterday based on an image I found on . Hope you like it, leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Well hello there, welcome to my and sort of a story. I've been hinting at this for quite sometime now but now that's it's mostly done, I'm happy to announce that my little fam bam has shifted its homebase. We've moved back to India and will be located in Kochi, Kerala for the time being!
To give you some background, though a lot of other decisions and reasons added to the cause, we took this decision primarily due to the little pink dude in my arms. He's grown leaps and bounds from when this picture was taken but hes still tiny! When we heard about an opportunity to shift and make him surround with family, we jumped on it. This was the most intensively anxious thing I've done recently but I'm glad we took the leap. It's day 3 since the big move and the only people looking worse for the wear are my mom, my husband and I. The little dude is seamlessly transitioning into this world and continuing to rule his grandparent's lives!
So what does this mean for this account? We just continue to paint and grow. It will be a while before I can paint again but hey growing pains will hopefully yield better results!
Ps - this picture was taken on my son's naming ceremony (day 21). I'm exhausted beyond words, no sleep, tired and achy all over but loving every second of it. The pink dude is now 2 days shy of being a handful 3 month old. I'm still exhausted, even more so now, if you can believe it and still cherishing every moment.
Also I'm accepting gifts in the form of love and prayers so can sail through setting up our lives from the scratch! Send as much of it as you can muster, this little family needs it! ❤
