The wait is finally over!

The theme for Respawn Game Jam 2022 is "What you eat is What you make". The way you intepret this theme is upto you. You can take it as a game related to food, or as a mechanic where the character changes into whatever it eats next. But these are just examples, and we are waiting to be surprised by the tremendous creativity you bring in this jam.

Join our discord server, ask away your doubts, show your progress and team up with people with different backgrounds. And if you haven't registered for the jam yet, worry not. Registration is open until the jam ends on 10th April!

Gear up, because the workshop series is here!

In the series, we'll be going over a variety of topics, to help students from all preferences and specialisations, to develop their skills in their fields.

The series will comprise some key topics of interest. It will start off with the basics of Unity Game Engine, UI and interface, where you'll be making your game. After that we'll be covering the programming aspect in Unity. Later, graphics, mainly 2D and 3D art will be taught. Once all these areas are covered, advanced topics will be approached in the workshop series.

We are pleased to announce the timeline for ReSpawn '22

21st March: Registrations Begin! (Hurry up!)
27th March onwards we will be conducting a series of workshops, for newbies and advanced developers alike, so you all can give your absolute best.
On 31st of March, the Theme will be released, and the Game Jam will officially commence on 1st of April.
Participants will have 10 days with all the resources and experience on their hands to create and submit their masterpiece, the deadline for which will be 10th of April, EOD.
