The auspicious Durga Puja has been celebrated at our village home Bakolsa since the Bengali year of 1343 which is almost 80 years back from today.It was started by our ancestor the Late Panchanan Ghosh who also went by the sobriquet 'Panchu Morol' and that's why this puja is often called as "Morol Barir Pujo' by people of this village.It's more about having a gettogether and spending some quality

times with friends and relatives nowadays.It's celebrated by not only our family members but by all the people of our village who look forward to it with as much ardor and zeal as us every year.The roster is full of a lineup of various events each year such as sit-&-draw competition, cultural programme, village theatres, Baul songs etc. Clothes, blankets etc are donated to the people in need and their blessing in return always makes our day.This page is for sharing with the world about the way we revel and rejoice those days of merriment in the lap of nature at our village.We welcome everyone to our puja...
