Kalanidhi - Centre of Performing Arts, a premier institution imparting learning of Bharatanatyam, commenced its journey in 1999, with just a handful of students. Thrived with more than 500 students in all these years, learners pride themselves upon the high standard of dancing they aim to achieve. the school emphasises adherence to the classicism of Bharatnatyam, ensuring training with a strong f

oundation firmly rooted in tradition. Students who join the school first complete a preliminary induction year that is followed by a six year prescribed course. The students receive training and instructions in both the practical and theoretical aspects required for appropriate presentation of traditional margam or repertoire of Bharatanatyam. The senior students also learn the art of nattuvangam or conducting the class. Our students are eligible to graduate under Gandharva Mahavidyala.

An enriching and inspiring interaction at Yugam International School ✨

Under the Performing Arts Vertical with , Dr. Sucharita Khanna (Director -Kalanidhi Centre of a performing Arts) conducted an interactive session on “Awareness through Motivation: Dance as Passion & Profession” for 170 young girls. 💫

The session focused on how dance builds confidence, discipline, expression, and perseverance, while also opening doors to meaningful professional opportunities in the performing arts.

It was wonderful to witness such curiosity, enthusiasm, and love for the arts among the students. Grateful to be part of conversations that encourage the next generation to embrace art with passion and purpose. 🌸
