Spiti, meaning "The Middle Land", is a high-altitude desert valley located in the northeastern part of Himachal Pradesh, India, bordering Tibet.

Spiti boasts a captivating blend of rugged mountains, barren landscapes, and picturesque scenery, often referred to as "Little Tibet" due to its resemblance to the Tibetan plateau.

The valley is home to several ancient monasteries, some dating back centuries, like the Key Monastery perched atop a hill overlooking the Spiti River, and the Tabo Monastery, famous for its well-preserved frescos.

Spiti Valley is home to the world's highest post office, located in the village of Hikkim, at an altitude of 4,440 meters (14,567 ft).

Mebar is a small village located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is situated at an altitude of 2,950 meters (9,680 feet) above sea level and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

The village is a popular tourist destination due to its scenic beauty and its proximity to the Kinnaur Kailash mountain range. The village is also known for its traditional apple orchards and its production of Kinnauri apples, which are a type of apple that is unique to the Kinnaur region.

The best time to visit Mebar is from May to October, when the weather is pleasant and the roads are open. The village can be reached by bus from Reckong Peo, the district headquarters of Kinnaur.

Tosh Kullu ❤🌲🌲

Tosh is a popular destination for trekkers and backpackers. The village is a great base for exploring the Parvati Valley and the surrounding mountains. There are a number of treks that start from Tosh, including the Kheerganga trek, the Pin Parvati Pass trek, and the Mantalai Lake trek.

The best time to visit Tosh is from April to October. The weather is pleasant during these months and the skies are clear. The village can be reached by bus from Kullu to Barshaini via Kasol and Manikaran and then a one-hour hike.
