Blessed to present a beautiful Holi performance by our two dear students .27 and today 💛
They danced gracefully to a soulful Holi kavita written by my respected Guru ji — filled with bhava, rhythm, and the vibrant spirit of colours. 🌈✨
Watching them express every word with such innocence and confidence was truly heartwarming.
May this Dhulivandan bring divine colours into everyone’s life.

Taught a beautiful Abhinay tihai on Hori in taal teentaal to my beginners yesterday — and this was learnt and presented in just one day! 🎶 Watching them understand the calculation, maintain the lay, and arrive confidently on the sam was such a joy.
And the little cuties in the front… the way they grasped the tihai so gracefully was simply heartwarming. 💕 Just wait and watch their expressions at the end — pure innocence with perfect rhythm.

Successful completion of our three-day intensive Kathak workshop at Ravindra Kala Vidyalaya (RKV) under the guidance of senior Kathak exponent Guru Smt. Sanjeevani Kulkarni of the Lucknow Gharana.
The workshop focused on taleem, tatkar, tode–tukde, chakkardar tihai, laya, and abhinaya. Heartfelt thanks to our students, parents, and musicians Manoj Mali and Alankar Tabla Class for their dedication and support, and special appreciation to Sumukhi Athani, Guruji’s daughter, and Guruji’s students for their valuable assistance. Grateful to everyone who made this workshop enriching and memorable. 🙏

Ravindra Kala Vidyalaya proudly organises a 3 days intensive Kathak workshop in the pure Lucknow Gharana tradition, conducted by Senior Guru Sanjeevani Kulkarni from Nasik beginning from 30th January
This workshop offers students a rare opportunity to learn the refined and graceful aspects of Kathak that define the Lucknow Gharana, with special emphasis on nazakat, abhinaya, rhythmic clarity, expressive chakkars, and aesthetic presentation. Under the guidance of an experienced and respected senior guru, students will gain deeper insight into technique, expression, and the subtle elegance of the form.
The workshop is designed to benefit both exam-oriented students and serious learners seeking artistic growth. Learning directly from a senior guru enhances confidence, corrects technique, and strengthens understanding of Kathak as a classical tradition. Students are encouraged to make full use of this enriching opportunity to refine their art and deepen their connection with Kathak.
