कथक नृत्याचे बोल वापरून वेगवेगळ्या तालांमध्ये सादर केलेले पदन्यास म्हणजे तत्-कार. पायाच्या सहज तसेच अवघड संचलनातून तत्-कार साकारले जातात. पदघात आणि पायात बांधलेल्या घुंगरूंच्या साहाय्याने तत्-काराचे बोल निर्माण केले जातात.
