Mastering Your Emotions: A Journey Within
Emotions, those powerful waves that color our experiences, can sometimes feel like a wild ocean, tossing us about with their unpredictable force. But what if, instead of being at their mercy, we could learn to navigate these emotional waters with grace and control? Mastering our emotions isn't about suppressing them, but rather about understanding and managing them effectively. Here's your roadmap to becoming the captain of your own emotional ship:

Step 1: Chart Your Course - Self-Awareness is Key

The first step is becoming intimately familiar with your own emotional landscape. Notice your triggers - what situations or thoughts spark specific emotions? Pay attention to your body's signals - does anxiety manifest as a racing heart, or anger as clenched fists? Journaling can be a powerful tool for self-discovery, allowing you to track patterns and identify recurring emotional themes.

Step 2: Weather the Storm - Develop Coping Mechanisms

Once you understand your emotions, you can equip yourself with healthy coping strategies. Deep breathing exercises can calm anxiety, while mindfulness meditation helps you observe and detach from overwhelming emotions. Physical activity is a natural stress reliever, and creative outlets like art or music can provide emotional release. Experiment and find what works best for you.

Step 3: Navigate the Currents - Challenge Negative Thought Patterns

Our emotions are often fueled by our thoughts. Recognizing and challenging negative thought patterns that distort reality can be transformative. Ask yourself if your thoughts are based on facts or fears. Practice reframing negative thoughts into more positive and realistic ones. Remember, you are not your emotions, and you have the power to choose how you interpret and respond to them.

Step 4: Seek Calm Waters - Build Emotional Resilience

Building emotional resilience means developing the ability to bounce back from setbacks and challenges. Practice self-compassion, treating yourself with kindness and understanding even when you make mistakes. Cultivate gratitude for the good things in your life, and engage in activities that bring you joy and a sense of purpose. These positive anchors will help you weather emotional storms with greater strength.

Step 5: Embrace the Journey - Growth is Continuous

Mastering your emotions is a lifelong journey, not a destination. There will be setbacks, moments when you feel overwhelmed or lost. But remember, each experience is an opportunity for growth. Celebrate your progress, no matter how small, and use challenges as stepping stones to greater emotional mastery.

Remember, you are not alone in this journey. Seek support from friends, family, or a therapist if needed. With dedication and self-compassion, you can cultivate the inner strength and wisdom to navigate the waves of your emotions and emerge as the calm, empowered captain of your own life.

The 2-step process to changing your identity
In our society, human is the main element here. Every person has his/her own attitude and that attitude makes their identity in society. Because people do not identify with us about our wealth or approaches, they know us from our behavior. Every person is not born with benefits. He learns those skills from his own experiences during the time or conditions of life. He identifies what is required in his life and he tries to take away from those conditions which is not really worth or benefit to him.
The author said that our habit is related to how we create our identity. For example, if we read a book or newspaper every day we are considered as a person who like reading. It is our identity that makes people know about ourselves that we like reading. This habit embodies our personality that we are a creative person, and we can give our creative advantage in any work. This ability has attracted people who are looking for those kinds of personalities.
Once we create and establish our identity in society people look to us with hope. They associate our identity with our behavior. The author of the book “Atomic Habits” James Clear said that our identity is related to our “repeated beingness”. Because as we discussed earlier that our identity will be made from repeated a habit in our work and attitude. For example, if we want to become a writer, so we should develop a habit of reading and writing in our own words. It will not be happening in a day or a moment. When we go to write something we should consume some reading material related to our subject. Then you study on that to find some more important points to our article. Which makes it more informative for our readers. Once we make command over this habit we will become a best writer. People really like our articles. It will make our identity.
Our habits are not only the actions has influence our identity, but by their frequency, they are usually the most important ones. When we do any work we gain some experience, no matter good or bad, that impacts or modify our self-image. For example, if we would like to consider as a writer because we like to write on any subject which we have. If we repeat or modify our self-image, it will accumulate our self-image begins to change. If we repeat to that job (works) again and again, it will be building habits is the process of becoming yourself.

Winner and loser have the same goals
According to the book named ‘Atomic habits’ by James Clear, he describes a famous and incredible phenomenon in his own way. According to his point of view his opinion about the achieve and achiever has some similarities, as we know the law that if you win, you progress on your path; if you lose you will learn a lesson. According to this book, the author demonstrates this thing is his own way. He said the goal or aim has been similar achievement for both parties, winner and loser. The goal never differentiates between winner and loser. The goal is never stepped out or moved it is all depends on how much effort we have been given in the process of achieving the particular goal. The system of working or the system of effort decides our potential to our goal.
Achieving a goal is only a momentary change: -
When any person achieves the goal form his hard work and efforts. He thought that this would be enough for him because whatever goal which he wants to achieve is already conquered, but now when he achieves the goal successfully and he celebrates his victory, he has to understand the potential of his success. According to James Clear, he said in his book ‘Atomic Habit’, that those kinds of moments have short term pleasure. Every single time we try to do something we will get a different result, many times we will win and many times we will be disappointed with our result. Every single time we give the effort to our goals, just clear one thing in our mind this pleasure or disappointment to win or lose his goals is momentary change in our life, it is part of process. We can always choose the same outcome(result) every time but you can never change the system behind it. Because you do not identify the main cause of the same result. Achieving the goal is changing our life for only a moment and it is the counteractive thing about improvement. Every person think he needs to change the result but the result is not a real problem. We have to think that what we have to really need to change the system that causes those results. Whenever we tthinkabout the solution of the problem we can only solve them temperedly because after some time or a particular period of time it will arise again in front of us and we will engage tin solvingthose again and again. So, what is the solution for that? It is simple we should solve those problems on the system level. The problem is not affecting behavior of our effort but the work we should observe carefully and whenever we think that it has a hope of any improvement to apply the efforts.
Goals restrict your happiness: -
When every person achieving the goal, he has a habit to think beyond the future form the result that, “When I will get the allowance, I will purchase something else expensive.” The problem is of this kind of thought of their mental excitement is they are putting pleasure and happiness off until the next milestone in the job.
Goals are creating either-or conflict like either I achieve my goals and make successful myself if I fail and suffer a disappointment. We create a box around ourself of self-proneness that “I should prove myself that I will be achieve something else” but what will beyond the victory or if I lose what will should I do? This is a reflection of the narrow vision of happiness. We should be aware of the consequences and hyperreality of the result that is not our hand. It is unlikely that our actual path through our life will match the exact journey we had in mind we set it out. It makes no sense to control or completely restrict our satisfaction or pleasure to one circumstance, when there are many ways to success.
The habit of system-first always provides a mental antidote. When we engage in something which we really loved to do or want to someone, we do not have to wait to give ourself permission to be something we really want. We will be satisfied anytime when our system is going on. And the system can be successful in many different forms, not just once. We first assume re-conceiving.
Goals are at odd with long-term progress: -
When all of our hard work is focused. On a particular goal, what is left to push us Forword, after we achieve it? This is why many people find themselves reverting to their old habits after accomplishing a goal.
The purpose of setting a goal is to win the situation. The main purpose of making the behavioral system is to continue the process of playing or doing the job. Long-term thinking is goal-less thinking. It is not about a single accomplishment. It is a cycle of endless refinement and continuous improvement. Ultimately, it is our commitment to the process that will determine your progress.

Achieving a goal is only a momentary chase.
If we have a task to do something, something which is very necessary, we have ben concerned about doing that obviously, for example- if we have a task to complete our pending official work and we have a deadline to submit it to the B.O.D., in a casual subjective meeting, so what happening now? We will plan for an impactful presentation for our job. But we observe that they have expected and looking for a unique suggestion for the benefit of to company, as an initial motivation. We prepared the further script for the idea for the job-related motive. We are preparing the speech and trying to conclude all important factors or elements of our project and we will be promoted to on higher incentive. We will get the result same every time because we never change the system method behind it.
The author said that achieving the goal is only changing your life in a moment. That is the counterintuitive thing about improvement. We people think that we should be required to change our results, but results are not the problem. We have to figure out that what we need to change is the system that causes those results. When we solve them temporarily, for example we feel hungry for a time we will prepare a meal and eat, that is a temporary solution for further hunger. If we need to improve the good, we solve that problem at the system level. If we fix the inputs(actions) and the outcomes(results) we will fix themselves.

The author of the book ‘atomic habits’ is tried to explain a concept of ‘focus on system’ instead of ‘focus on goals In this concept the author concludes that if we want to achieve something in our life then we should take some initiative and try to achieve something. The author is trying to introduce some revolutionary concepts about our habits, which are makes our life easier.
Focus on system: - The author explains an authentic method to build a habit which makes improvement in our actions for our goals. He claims a well-designed work system can lead to our long-term goals with giving behavior producing a positive outcome
He explains his thought with some real time examples: - The author takes that if we have been fre oriented approaches then we will get some disappointment from the results of the effort witch we put in the actions. Instead of these approaches he takes it is that we should focus on the system, which are the processes and habits that lead to the continuous improvements.
He thinks is that habits are a system which can be develop and designed with our outcomes witch we want. We can create a system which takes us from success.
He says that when once we priorities our goals then we consistently give efforts towards the aims. The align the idea of making small changes is the results of accumulative and informative outcomes. For example: -
(1) Goal oriented approach: -
Aiming the writing a best-selling novel.
(2) System oriented approach: -
Creating a daily writing habit, such as 500 words each day. The focus is on the process of writing regularly, trusting that the writing accumulation of words will lead to improved skills and potentially successful outcomes.
We can understand form the following pictures: -
We often expect progress to be linear. At the very least, we hope it will come quickly. In reality, the results of our efforts are often delayed. It is not until months or years later that we realize the true value of previous work we have done. This can result in a “valley of disappointment” we people feel discouraged after putting in weeks or months of hard work without experiencing any results. However, this work was not wasted. It was simply being stored. It is not until much later that the full value of previous effort is revealed.
In the opinion of the author that all big things are created or introduced from small beginnings. And the development of every single habit has a small decision. But however, that decision has been taken again and again, the habits will develop and it becomes stronger. The roots of that particular habit preaches and branches of the various conditions are growing across our expectations. The bad habits and unexpected actions are coming within the approaches and we can cultivate the delicate the flowere results one day at a time.

Why small Habits makes big differences

From several day I’ve reading a book which known as “Atomic Habits by James Clear”. I mesmerise from this book, what is the vision of the author is very unique. In this particular lesson of this book elaborate to us that in between our expectation and reality about the results are so different in real life. Many people are want to achieve to something in their life. Some people want to make enjoy in their life, someone is make want to a benchmark in the society. So we understand that everyone have their unique objective. And every person is looking on that with the his unique point of view.
In this particular graphical figure the author has to try to explain a concept witch is known as the ‘Plateau of latent potential’, in this graphic figure we can see that there has 2 parameters, one of represent the time period and another represent results. This concepts is base on result oriented fallacy. The author trying to describe that the result are always different from our expectations. The time is decide, how much effort we are given and how the result we actually get. The results of our efforts are not comes to us quickly. We should make patience in our attitude. The author explains that all the big things are initiate with the small beginning. We should give our efforts to that. The seed of every habit is a single, tiny decision. The decision push us to do something better. But this decision has repeated, it will make the habits stronger. The basic habits are develop themselves and it will make part of our routine lifestyle. The task of building a good habit is become more fruitful.
