Can there be a better model.of PPP .Gayatri Rathore Principal Secretary Of Tourism ,Arts and Culture believed in us and Raghukul Trust delivered in the form of Weave Walk.
Could not have done without every single member of JSS team .The Core team comprising of Sandhya and Doorva.All thirty five soul sisters who created this magic - in no way can one quantify your contribution.
What unites people is not material interests - it may bring people together but it is an idea that ignites minds and holds them together.In this case it was Promoting Living Traditions specially in the New Normal wherein artisans in the creative industry are still living from one day to another.🙏🙏🙏

What an enriching experience the Jaipur SS meet was ! I am still overwhelmed with the experience. The hospitality of the Pink City was amazing and I was overjoyed to see the Weave Walk where the participants were not models, but accomplished professionals who were committed to make the saree centre stage of the society and their lives. The words spoken by Mrs. Jaya Jaitly was magical to the ear. I was particularly impressed to hear from Sadhanaji that the event was supported wholeheartedly by 4 distinguished men, who did not think twice before extending their support to promote the six yards. The visit was brief but the memories of those few hours will remain etched in my memory forever.

I am wearing a kantha stitch saree on a bangalore silk base today. The lovely powder blue shade had attracted me before I noticed the intricate embroidery. The nip in the weather continues, so the pullover will have to give company for a few more days it seems. Happy sareeing friends.

The magic of a saree is manifold.When twenty two Jaipur's who's who wow women donned the nine yards- the city stopped to admire them.
The first edition of Jaipur Saree had set out to bring back saree where it belonged - centrestage.It did much more .The city - one and all -has not stopped talking about its content and the audience too. And I quote"after a long time there was a Show that highlighted a passion and not the people behind it"
To quote another prominent Jaipurite " not only the content but even the audience was curated and was a class apart"
It best sumps up the event and I say this with all humility at my command .
