It all started on the day-1 of my Shadow module when I expressed my desire to paint a wall of a conference room that feels to be painted when I saw it.
Tina (my mentor) without a flinch of doubt encouraged me in all ways and pushed me to go with this idea. She asked me that instead of the conference wall, I should paint the two staircase walls that lead to the office.
Along with my shadow projects going in the office, I started working in and out on the wall designs. Making and learning how to present mockups was a super challenging task as I need to present the exact way how a wall will look to Nidhi, who was the Design Head.
My designs kept on rejecting almost 20 times and I had lost complete hope of painting the wall.
For almost 15 days, I didn't even touch a bit or thought of any design when one day Tina again followed up with me asking where am I in the wall's progress.
I had to do it. More than that, there was an expectation from the office people that I will be painting a wall. But when? When will my designs get approved?
I started giving myself deadlines. Learned more softwares, and brainstormed a lot. A Lot.
And then one fine day, my designs were approved. I knew now I have to do it!
My heart danced with joy and without stretching it even a bit, I purchased the required materials.
It took almost four days to finish both the walls but I must say, this experience was worth it. The rejections were truly worth it!
