🥇 Subtitles mean more than you can imagine
to 8 months ago, a New Year, a new opportunity, and just 2 weeks until I hit that stage, and I threw myself into the final preparations
I finished my Publicity/Appearance and Advocacy presentations in a weekend, checked over my Talent video, and didn't even know where to begin with my Sustainable Costume idea.....
To be awarded for each one was just incredible
🥇 Publicity Queen.....I did not expect at all
🥇 Talent Star.....I didn't know what anyone else had submitted so it was such a surprise 🧜♀️
🥇 Advocacy Champion.....the one I'd dreamed of 🌊 Beneath The Surface had been acknowledged in the best way possible
🥇 Best Sustainable Costume......an idea I'd had for over a year, finally brought to life and loved 👗
Did I expect the win?
No!
I genuinly stood looking in the backstage mirror after the 4th sash and told myself "I can go home truly happy right now" and I meant it
My work had been appreciated, the effort and dedication credited, and my passion seen and heard
The crown was a dream bonus
Post Finals I also found out I'd come 3rd in Private Interview, 2nd in Evening Gown and 1st on Swimwear
