Folk Safar Jaipur is a civil society initiative, primarily aimed at supporting artists in crisis period and creating direct market linkage with rural folk performing/ handicraft artists of 4 districts in western Rajasthan - Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Jodhpur. It was held at Krishna Niwas, in two timeframes so far, 1st Mar to first week of April 2021 and then recently on 21-30 Oct, 2021. On both the occasions it was supported by Arya Niwas Group led by their CEO Tarun Kumar and banglanatak dot com. We are very happy at audience response and also thank entities like Chingari and IICD Jaipur, who also came forward and hosted programmes at their premises and all of these efforts have benefitted these artists a lot.🙏
