At the end of the day, e=mc² The Derivatives isn’t just a dance crew—it’s the people who have your back when the music cuts or the floor gets slippery. Taking home 2nd Runners Up at Blitzschlag ‘26 on our own home turf hits hard. It’s a proud moment, for sure, but it’s only a small part of why we do this.
We didn’t just show up for a trophy; we showed up for each other. We built this energy together through the long nights, the exhaustion, and the rehearsals that felt like they’d never end. This stage at MNIT is where we grew up, and standing on it as a family means more than any rank on a piece of paper.
To everyone who felt that energy in the crowd and to those who know who the original winners truly are—this one is for the squad. We don’t just “participate.” We set the standard because of the bond we share off-stage.
This result is just fuel. We’re going back to the lab to come back sharper, faster, and more connected than ever. Whatever it takes, we keep moving forward.
