Dooriyan - a 43 minute trip like journey through an audio experience of 12 songs unfolding one after another elevating and falling in an endless elevator of love.
Over the duration that the album took to create, another story was unfolding, one of my own. Gifting the world with a project like this one was always on the back of my head but was only a vision about 2 years ago which is also how long it took to materialise it into what it is today. I knew I wanted to give the people I love something, what I didn’t know was that Dooriyaan was as close as I could get to achieving it.
On the surface its a multi-genre representation of how i wish to maneuver the industry with the sound I bring to the table. It started off as a moulded inspiration and ended up being this emaculate and shapeless vibe.
When I say it’s my own story, the whole track-list was never really setup; it placed itself there one by one, starts with everything fresh followed by rough edges further followed by everything crashing down and things hitting rock bottom to getting back up, taking it all in a stride and giving myself another shot. The genius behind is not something I can sum up in the caption box so wait for an interview or two, however- I want you, the listener to interpret it as you naturally will and think of the songs as a part of your own journey. It’s a coaster ride, the sound is as fresh as it can get, baked alongside the freshest people I could accommodate- Pop punk, reggae, alt-trap, you name it.
