Rahul Bose is a multiple award winning actor, filmmaker, social activist and former Indian rugby international who represented India from 1998 to 2009. Since becoming President of the Indian Rugby Football Union in 2021, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the sport's growth and visibility, including the launch of the HSBC Rugby Premier League, Powered by AVID. Recognized for his contributions to rugby, the Rahul Bose Rugby Stadium in Bhubaneswar was named in his honour in 2023. Beyond sport, he is celebrated for his work in cinema and his commitment to education and child welfare through his NGOs, The Foundation and HEAL.
