Padmaja Reddy to start 'Pranav Institute of Kuchipudi Dance'- a dance school where she imparts formal training in Kuchipudi. As Padmaja became an active and mature performer, she realised that teaching was a wonderful way to pass on this legacy to the futu
re generations as well as help herself evolve as a creative personality. Pranav Institute of Kuchipudi Dance functions as a trust, and Dr. Padmaja Reddy donates the income generated to old artists. More than two generations of students comprising mostly of girls from the underprivileged classes have been trained here to become teachers, performers and performance conductors. With two branches in Hyderabad and one in Florida, Pranav Institute of Kuchipudi Dance has come to be known as one of the most sought after dance schools in Hyderabad. Padmaja has choreographed numerous ballets and presented them with her troupe in India and abroad. Students from this famous dance academy have won awards and have carved a special niche for themselves. Padmaja strives to inculcate in her students the same kind of dedication and love that she has nurtured for this art form. Many of her students have taken up Kuchipudi for life and teach in their own dance school.
