Anekdotes is coming to Bengaluru!
Anekdotes..many stories, the storytelling wing of A Flower Child is presenting a talk and a storytelling presentation at Capgemini on 9th November. The individuality of the Storytelling is that it will be accompanied by Indian Classical Dance and Music, with live orchestra. We are also participating in the Market, which is a part of the 'Prithvi Mela' by Capgemini on the 9th and 10th November. 'Prithvi Mela' is an initiative by Capgemini, aimed at promoting and celebrating eco-friendly, sustainable lifestyles. Looking forward.

A Flower Child

'A Flower Child' is a platform founded by Neha Khaitan. It engages in Visual Arts, Children's Books and Storytelling.

Neha is a Bharatanatyam artist, illustrator and children's author. Based out of Hyderabad, Neha has traveled to various cities in India and abroad for her dance recitals, thematic art exhibitions and storytelling sessions. The first volume in a series of Math-based Activity books for children, which Neha has authored and illustrated, is currenty being published by Rupa Publications. Before she forayed into the world of arts she worked in the Information Technology industry for about a decade. She currently also works with Branding and Communications projects.

'Anekdotes - many stories' is a storytelling initiative from 'A Flower Child.' Curated from various sources or written from the scratch, these stories would offer children a unique insight into the art of storytelling to convey messages and also develop their emotive skills. The stories are embellished with the elements of Indian Classical Dance - mudras or hand-gestures, expressions or body language and abhinaya or enactment, if the stories demand. Every story is also accompanied by a title illustration of its own. Through this channel and on-stage storytelling performances, Anekdotes aspires to make learning and expressing a fun, engaging activity for all children and their parents.
