The Torn Curtains was established in 1971 by a group of people who were dedicated to making theatre an enjoyable and meaningful experience. The late Ramann Rao, a great Actor and Director of those times, the very versatile theatre and Hollywood personality Tony Mirchandani and Mala Pasha took the Torn Curtains to great heights of popularity. Every year The Torn Curtains initiates fresh talent & memberships so that the Theatre Movement in Hyderabad and the country moves from strength to strength. Periodic workshops are held to hone the skills of veterans and introduce youngsters into the scenario of performing arts.
