Deewan-e-wāz

This performance piece is about my dreams and desires. While writing and devising this performance I went searching through my roots and childhood to create an experience which is personal. I chose to devise a performance out of my absolute personal to explore my craft and more importantly to delve further into my own philosophy of life. And as I went on to create a performance sifting through my memory, I realized my personal belongs to so many people who knowingly or unknowingly contributed in my life. My personal did not take shape in isolation. Reliable or not but my memory continues to shape me.
