As the darkness fell, the spookiest party of the year began....

Children dressed in their Halloweeny costumes walked in...they clicked pictures at the photo booth and played spooky games. Then it was creepy crafts time where children enjoyed making the flying bat and the pencil broom sticks. Terrible treats included spider cupcakes and bat cookies!!

A Halloween party is incomplete without a spooky story, isn't it? As the lights went out and creepy music played...the mood was set for spooky stories which sent a shiver down the spine of even the accompanying adults!!

Last but not the least the haunting Halloween parade and the skeleton dance added some fun and giggles on the faces of the scared lot.

We at KathaKonnections were just reveling after our very first session as a team and we received another call asking if we could do story sessions at Basantar Lit Fest. What more could we ask for than to share the purest form of joy in sharing stories of hope, commitment, trust, wonderment, introspection, magic and imagination that light up the eyes of the little ones whose parents toil night and day committing their lives for us all...

The kids and the parents were so receptive of the stories. We enjoyed telling stories as much as they enjoyed listening.

As our hearts felt full of gratitude for the real heroes, protecting our country, they bowled us over with their impeccable show of respect and hospitality, no stone left unturned. From the delectable meals that felt homely and scrumptious, to the warm and engaging conversations, the day rolled by creating a treasure trove of experiences to cherish for a lifetime! We sure did live our Cinderella moments... feeling on top of the world!!

It was an honour to be a part of Basantar Lit Fest, and we are immensely grateful to the great minds behind this idea to give KathaKonnections this wonderful opportunity and promise to participate in future too!

Happy to share that our very first event at Vista International School to celebrate World Storytelling day was a huge success.

𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 is the theme for World Storytelling Day and we thought it was an apt beginning because we are strong, each in our purpose, and we are all more strong together.

Children from PP1 to grade 5 enjoyed the stories specially curated for them.

Our gratitude to Ms. Shanthi Priya, Principal, Vista international school and all the teachers and staff who were very supportive and helped in conducting the story sessions seamlessly.

Some stories are just beautiful. KathaKonnections is one such beautiful story.Shared passion is what brought us together...
