SVR 2006 had one of the strangest unlocks in WWE game history.
Jake Roberts was available on PSP, but using him on PS2 meant connecting the handheld version to the console.

The PSP release also added WWE poker, a Eugene airplane race and a 500-question trivia mode.
That little UMD worked like an expansion pack.

One PS2 game gave us General Manager Mode, separate Raw and SmackDown season stories, a Buried Alive Match and deep creation modes.
SVR 2006 also packed in legends like Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. No card packs. No season pass. The content was already waiting inside the game.
