Inspired by a reel created by The City Palace Museum Udaipur, we posed at the same place and enjoyed every bit recreating it. How relevant this reel by the City Palace becomes for the children ! Museum spaces can be our ‘third place’ to observe, aspire, assimilate and learn every bit of our culture.

Grateful for this journey of pursuing our dreams, we began in 2020 formally on Instagram. Thankyou to appreciate our efforts. You rock!!

The formative years go back in 2003 when our founder started to dream through her efforts to pursue the very non-famous and doubted subject -Fine Arts. We would like to thank you all who doubted and all who supported!

Back then the left brain vs right brain theory dominated the naive thoughts. But we are happy that finally both the sides communicate via the corpus callosum and work together equally 🤣

We are on this journey to understand the true epistemological and ontological questions on MUSEOLOGY , ART, CULTURE and its relevance in our lives !

“I will die but the museum shall stay forever !” This is what the museum of the Ever Living Museum said when I spoke to him . What a pleasure talking to Sir war Ever Living Museum !
Your humbleness has touched me and given me the sense of responsibility towards my community and the Earth as a whole.

The Ever Living Museum in Mawshbuit, Shillong, is a private ethnographic museum established in 2015 by Kyntiewbor War, showcasing Meghalaya’s tribal heritage, diverse flora, and geological artifacts. It features three sections—a main museum, a stone/fossil collection, and an orchid garden—dedicated to preserving the cultural identity of Khasi, Jaintia, and Garo communities. My favourite ? I simply loved the Khasi tribe 🛖 hut and the kitchen utensils made of bamboo.

Thankyou once again and congratulations Ever Living Museum for being the world’s best single man owned Museum. Truly an epitome of being an Ever Living Museum!

We are back with exciting workshops!

In the coming weeks, we are organising Museum Education workshops! Collaborating with schools and institutions to empower and inspire the generation to inculcate the sense of responsibility towards our heritage and culture !
