The most awaited and important event of Rebeca 2025, the Alumni Meet, was held on 12th April — a day that brought together generations of B.E. College Shibpur under one roof to celebrate legacy, leadership, and lifelong connection.
The event provided a powerful platform for the reuinion of alumni, students, and administration to share stories, ideas, and aspirations. Prof. Sudipta Mukhopadhyay, Acting Director, IIEST, Shibpur and Dean of Students' Welfare, and Prof. Anirban Gupta, Dean of International Relations & Alumni Affairs along with senior members of the faculty were also present during the meeting. 🤝
We were deeply honored to hear from our distinguished alumni who returned not only as proud former students but also as inspiring figures in their respective fields. A few notable alumni who graced the stage of this meeting are:

We would like to thank all the Alumni for gracing this occasion for the students and for the good of the Institute. Thanking all the GAABESU members, professors and students who worked tirelessly to make this event a success.
We were also proud to release the BECA Magazine, after a 6 year hiatus which consisted of both technical and creative writings of the currently enrolled Students of IIEST, Shibpur.
