In a lonely night, I sit with all my memories,
Memories not yet real,
Memories my senses have never tasted.
Yet I call them memories, not dreams,
For I know that one day I will meet you,
And you will fill my life with these moments.
It is a circle of meeting and parting;
Our souls were, are, and will be,
Bound to each other for eternity.
I wait for the night
When I will make those memories anew
With a touch of moonlight
And flower petals upon the breeze,
With the song of little birds
And the scent of the first rain.
When I meet you,
Under the stars,
Beyond the reach of this world,
With a thousand galaxies as witness,
I will give my heart,
My memories,
My desires,
My love,
And all my care to you.
And on that day, my dear,
Love will release every bitterness from life,
As though it had never existed.

Written somewhere in 2010, now that dreamy days are gone, one shattered amber of that dream remains around.
