( ज्यूति ) : जीव मात्रिकाएं - वैदिक पूजा पद्धति के अनुसार मांगलिक अवसर एवं शुभ संस्कारों के लिए बनने वाली ज्यूंति नामक संरचना मातृशक्ति के अन्य रूपों को प्रस्तुत करती है । पराशक्ति के प्रति अपनी कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करने के लिए जीवमातृकाओं , जिन्हें कुमाँऊ में ज्यूंति कहते हैं , की संरचना कर उनका आवाह्न किया जाता है ताकि कार्य निर्विघ्न सम्पन्न हो । इसके लिए पूजा स्थल की भित्ति पर या कागज पर ज्यूंति को सरेचना की जाती है । पारम्परिक चित्र रचना में केवल तीन देवियां चित्रित की जाती हैं । इन्हें महाकाली , महालक्ष्मी और महासरस्वती माना जाता है । ये देवियां सभी का प्रतिनिधित्व करती हैं । इन तीनों शक्तियों की दाहिनी ओर मूषक सहित गणेश चित्रित किये जाते हैं । इन आकृतिमूलक प्रस्तुतियों के बाद दूसरा वर्ग अमूर्त रूपाकृतियों का है जिन्हें षोडश मातृका कहते हैं । इन्हें शंकु आकार की सोलह सरल रेखाओं से चित्रित किया जाता है । इन्हें समूह में बांट कर अथवा पंक्तिबद्ध बनाया जाता है । एक के ऊपर एक रखने से ये शिखर का आकार ले लेती हैं । चित्र - भूमि का शेष भाग प्रतीकों एवं पारंपरिक अलंकारों से पूरा किया जाता है । ऊपर दोनों ओर सूर्य और चन्द्रमा दर्शाए जाते हैं । यह बहुरंगी रचना पूजा गृह में महत्वपूर्ण स्थान रखती है ।
(Jyuti): Jeeva Matrika - A structure called Jyunti, which is made for Manglik occasions and auspicious rites according to Vedic worship system, presents other forms of mother power. In order to express their gratitude to the Parashakti, the Jivamatriks, called Jyantis in Kumaon, are structured and called upon so that the work is completed smoothly. For this, junti is done on the wall of the place of worship or on paper. Only three goddesses are depicted in traditional painting. They are considered Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati. These goddesses represent all. Ganesha is depicted with the mouse in the right of these three powers. After these morphological representations, the second category is of abstract motifs known as hexadecate. They are characterized by sixteen simple lines of cone shape. By placing one above the other, they take the shape of the peak. The remaining part of the land is completed with symbols and traditional ornaments.The sun and the moon are depicted on both sides above. This multicolored composition holds an important place in the house.
