Check this: 26-year-old student of IIT-Madras went missing from her hostel on Tuesday, bizarrely leaving behind notes in her hostel room that said she was heading to the Himalayas to attain sainthood.
The city police said Vedantam L Prathyusha, from Brodipet in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, was a second-year MS student in the IIT-M's department of engineering design.

Students said they last saw Prathyusha on Sunday morning(17 jan). Police said that some of the students had complained about her disappearance later on Sunday, following which the hostel warden opened her room and found two notes — a two-page note in English letter and another of three pages in Telugu.

A police officer said Prathyusha's notes stated that she wanted to have an adventure and do research in spirituality. Her pages on social networking sites also indicate that she she had an avid interest in spiritual texts like Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavad Gita.

Prathyusha informed no one about her plans," an official said. "Her friends tried calling her on her cellphone but couldn't get through. They later contacted her parents who said she hadn't returned home."

Heroes of North East India:

Manipur body builder Arambam Boby bagged a gold medal in the 7th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships Last year Nov, Bangkok, Thailand. With this he has regained the world title and has already bagged his 4th world championships title.

The multi championships medalist Arambam Boby won the Asian title in his weight category in the recently held 49th Asian Bodybuilding And Physique Sports Championship 2015, Tashkent in Uzbekistan. This is the fourth world championship title of Arambam Boby. Boby is one of the finest bodybuilders India has produced so far, said a press note.

Meanwhile, Thingbaijam Sarita who had recently won a silver medal for India in Asian Bodybuilding Championships 2015 has also bagged a bronze medal for India at the 7th World Bodybuilding Championships 2015, Bangkok, Thailand.

In another women’s category, former bronze medalist of the world bodybuilding championship K Rebita won the 4th position. She won a bronze medal for India in the recently held Asian Bodybuilding Championships 2015.

Yumnam Mamota won a bronze medal in 7th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2015. Yumnam Mamota has also won a bronze medal for India at the 7th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2015, Bangkok.
