Sangeet Sattra proudly announces its affiliation with Madhabdev University for its academic programmes in Sattriya Dance (Nritya), Sattriya Music (Borgeet), and Khol.

Satradhikar of Mul Kamalabari Sattra and Acharya of Sangeet Sattra met with an severe accident today. Currently he is safe and is back from hospital to the Sattra.

The Sangeet Sattra representatives handed over the cheque to Smti. Khana Das presented by Hon'ble Governor of Chhattisgarh Shri Ramen Deka.
On the 18th Raseshwar Saikia Barbayan Sattriya Awards, Hon'ble Governor of Chhattisgarh promised to provide a cash gift to both the awardess. In accordance, the cheques were handed to the General Secretary of Sangeet Sattra which was later handed over to Smti. Khana Das in Guwahati.

Faculty of Khol, Arunabh Jyoti Malakar and Jyotirgamay Bhuyan, student of Sangeet Sattra had the honour to perform at the 125th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Kesari Dr. Swama Prasad Mookerjee at Biswa Bangla Prangan, Kolkata in the presence of Hon'ble Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, Central Cultural and Tourism Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Chief Minister of West Bengal Shri Suvendu Adhikari. Day 2 of 18th Raseshwar Saikia Barbayan Sattriya Award and 58th Annual Festival of Dance and Music
The 2nd day of the festival was graced by Shri Limpon Borah, Shri Dipankar Gogoi, Shri Sudarshan Thakur, Shri N. Munish Singh, Shri Sapam Ranabir Singh and Dr. Pratibha Sharma.
Sangeet Sattra felicitated Padmashri Haricharan Saikia and Padmashri Nuruddin Ahmed along Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardees Shri Premo Ojah Barbayan, Shri Bipul Das, Smti. Chetana Das, Smti. Tapati Chowdurie, Dr. Mallika Kandali and Shri Bhaskar Jyoti Ojah.
The Sangeet Vaswar Award (In the memory of Tonmoyee Bordoloi) was awarded to Smti. Rubi Bora Bordoloi.
The Festival of Dance ans Music highlighted Thiyo Naam by Ila Kalita and her group, Flute recital by Nibir Dev Sharma, Sattriya Nritya by Anita Tamuli and her disciples along with Borgeet (under the guidance of Shri Naren Khataniar Bargayan) and Sattriya Nritya performances by the students of Sangeet Sattra.
Smti. Tapati Chowdurie was the invited art critic for the festival.
