Sangeeta Kumar Murthy is well accomplished artist and researcher, who have received several Awards and Honours for her contribution to Indian Art. She has received Senior Fellowship Award from CCRT, Cultural Ministry of India. She has participated in 6 Charity Auctions such as Christies and received awards like, Amrita Sher Gill Rashtriya Kala Puraskar, Kala Ratan Samman, Nari Sashaktikaran, FACE
International Women Leadership Award, Custodian of Art & Heritage, Shri Shakti Nari Pratibha Samman, Naayaka Award, Delhi Star Award are few of them. Sangeeta represented India in “Florence Biennale” Italy and also part of “8th South Korea India Contemporary Art Exchange”, Seoul. She was part of the Artists’ delegation representing India for the SAARC, held at Colombo, Sri Lanka and she was invited by the Princess of Saudi Arabia to exhibit her works at National Museum, Riyadh. Sangeeta was invited by many prestigious Award Juries such as ”Kalidas Award” for the year 2018, 2019 and “Shikhar Samman” for the year 2016, 2017 & 2018. She was in the jury of NCERT “Kala Utsav” for 2018 & 2019. Her works can be found in several private and public collections in India and abroad.
