I had once read the below message from one of the renowned artists. But got to experience it myself this time.
It's all about Crisis Management on Stage...

Every stage is a learning, every performance is an experience... It makes the artist learn, grow, realize, and sometime react with spontaneity...
Uncertainties are certain in any circumstances and so is with stage performances...
Handling an unforeseen situation during a performance can be an interesting experience for a dancer... Handling with presence of mind is true challenge...Crisis management demands will power and determination too......

And here's my story...

In one of my recent performance while performing the invocatory item, a glass piece pierced my foot. Since it was a group performance I couldn't exit the stage inbetween. I some how managed to compete the item.

Only after getting back to green room I realized that glass piece had gone deep and the cut was intense, unfortunately there was no first aid, and all that came to my rescue was a pillow cover.....

With support of my dear friends I could somehow manage to complete the 3 other items of the program...

With back to back performances I was down with cold too.

It was a different and intense experience trying to cover up the pain and dance with a glass piece pierced into the foot and also with Incessant running nose.....

please carry your own first aid and quick check the stage before stepping in...
