"If you could instantly have anything you drew come to life, what would you draw?" ✨

Innocent minds, one piece of paper, and endless imagination.

As part of Nyasa's Summer Camp 2026, Art@IITGN collaborated with Nyasa to conduct a filmmaking workshop for children from the neighboring villages.

Around 120 children were each given a sheet of paper and shown a short clip about a boy with a magic pencil who could bring anything he drew to life. We then gave them the same challenge: If you could have anything you drew in real life, what would you draw?

The room instantly filled with excitement, laughter, and creativity. From dreaming of a big car to becoming a police officer, every drawing reflected a unique ambition, a heartfelt wish, or a glimpse into a young imagination. Their dreams came alive on paper in the most beautiful ways.

At the end, we invited a few children to share their drawings and talk about the dreams behind them. Those little conversations were just as special as the artwork itself.

This short film is a celebration of their innocent hearts, limitless imagination, and the joy of dreaming without boundaries. We're grateful to have been a small part of their creative journey, and we hope this film brings you even a fraction of the happiness it brought us while making it. ❤️

It all started with a few simple patterns, and by the end of the session, the room was filled with 120 masterpieces.✨

As part of the Nyasa Summer Camp 2026, Art@IITGN collaborated with Nyasa to conduct a Mandala Art Workshop for children from the neighbouring villages.

One pattern at a time, simple shapes came together to create beautiful mandalas. By the end of the session, no two artworks looked alike, each one reflected a different imagination, a different perspective, and a different story. For many of the children, this was their first introduction to mandala art, and seeing them proudly hold up their finished work was easily the highlight of the day. ✨

Every mural across campus feels less like paint on concrete and more like frozen moments of college life, little pieces of people, emotions, memories, and time left behind for others to walk past every day.

They turn unfamiliar buildings into home.
A splash of color in a quiet corridor.
A painted wall that becomes part of someone’s everyday route.
A corner that slowly becomes attached to memories.

Years later, most people probably won’t remember every lecture or assignment. But they’ll remember these walks. These colors. These walls. The feeling of being young and alive in this tiny little universe called college.

Because some stories aren’t written in notebooks.
They stay behind on walls.✨
