Dilwalon Ki Delhi
a city where history lives alongside everyday life. The capital of modern India, Delhi has seen countless generations, each leaving behind its own story. Its monuments preserve history, while its streets continue to shape the present.

Through these black and white frames, beyond colour, the city’s true essence, its people and their unnoticed moments that define everyday life were captured. Every photograph reflects a story. While Delhi is celebrated for its heritage, the lives of those who call it home are much like those of people anywhere else in the country: filled with dreams, struggles, and hope.

Set along the banks of the Cauvery, Karur is a town of many lifestyles running side by side vendors, tailors, commuters, families, all caught up in their own version of the day.

Different routines run together here, busy by day and still awake by night. People move with a kind of quiet persistence, carrying the weight of everyday work without much fuss.

A single story doesn’t define the variety of lives lived in between these lines.

Darjeeling is a place where every winding road tells a story. From the iconic toy train echoing through the hills to breathtaking views wrapped in mist, this town has a charm of its own. Life in these hills can be demanding, especially during the monsoons, yet the people continue to live with resilience, warmth, and kindness.Their lives and stories are what give these hills their character.The aroma of fresh tea and the serenity of the mountains create an experience unlike any other. Every sunrise over these misty hills leaves behind memories that stay forever.

For many, Durgapur begins with the image of a steel city. But beyond it’s factories and chimneys lies another Durgapur— the one found in unhurried evenings by the river, in conversations that outlast the journey home and in familiar corners that quietly become a part of our everyday lives.

Here, the familiar never truly fades. Years later, a school gate once crossed every morning or a corner of the city left behind can still feel like home.

Maybe that’s why some places stay with us long after we’ve moved on.

Behind every person, there is a journey shaped by hope, responsibility, and perseverance. Behind every place are countless stories of people who worked, waited, dreamed, and found a reason to keep going.

STROKES proudly presents LOKULUS, an exploration of people and places. Through ordinary moments and familiar surroundings, LOKULUS captures lives unfolding every day on the streets we pass without noticing. “Cazz kar yaar, Chal chai peete hain.”

It all starts with these simple words. After long lectures, tiring labs, unfinished assignments, project deadlines, and placement worries, JHOOPS becomes more than just a food corner it becomes a comfort zone. Over a cup of chai and a plate of Maggi, conversations flow effortlessly. We talk about college, future plans, family, friendships, achievements, failures, and sometimes things we can’t share anywhere else.
The food brings us together, but it’s the people and the moments that make JHOOPS special. For many of us, some of the best memories of college were not made inside classrooms, but around a table at JHOOPS with friends who made every stressful day a little easier.

It’s funny how it’s always the most ordinary places that end up becoming the most memorable ones.

Techno has been that place in the chapter of NIT Durgapur. More than just a spot on campus, it became the default destination for catching up, killing time, and avoiding the hostel for a little longer. No matter how hectic the day was, it often ended with a familiar call — “Deepak Da, ekta cheese bun, ekta chicken patties, aar ekta Thumbs Up.” And somehow, a quick snack break would turn into an hour of laughter and moments that made even the busiest days feel lighter.

Every batch leaves a piece of its story behind here. Techno is a corner where some of the best memories of hostel life were made over a plate of snacks and coke.
