A Story That Floats
We begin life held together,
colours tied in one place, safe, familiar.
Then, one day, the string loosens.
We drift alone, learning the wind,
finding our own direction in the chaos.
And somewhere along the way,
we meet other souls, other stories and choose to tie ourselves again.
Different knots.
New colours.
A new beginning.
Just like balloons.
