Break It DOWN (S.O.B's Breaking Event) BREAK IT DOWN III...... Nov 30 2013 What is Hip-hop? What is new in it?? Breakdancing is a part of hip-hop, which consists bboying/bgirling,popping and locking.

BREAK IT DOWN was the 1ST PURE BREAKING EVENT of the SUBURBS which was held @ DOMBIVLI in 2010 by STYLZ OF BEYOND CREW....

The main MOTTO behind this event was to aware more and more People about the B-boying scene in D-TOWN(Dombivli) & Unite all the B-Boying crews in Dombivli and let people in the suburbs know
what breakdancing is? S.O.B wanted to let people know that these arent just Stunts or

gymnast movements,Its a whole new culture, people who understand it, Do it. THe rest just keep watching and criticising. "BREAK IT DOWN" covered all these art forms and gave a demonstration of how the actual breaking scene is out there in the birthplace of Hip-hop (streets of NY). BREAK IT DOWN was an epic event in the suburbs and a Big one, as we gave it a whole intense battling look at the battle scenario, With the Dj , the judges and the participants from suburbs n rest of the Mumbai side ofcourse. The event had a capacity crowd of 200-230 and ambience was like totally of a dance club or something. The Event usually started with a Breaking jam session which demonstrated Breakdancing to the crowd. The event demonstrated the various element of hip hop like Break dancing, Dj-ing, Mc-ing(Beatboxing) n Graffiti work which makes Hip-Hop complete. For Break-Dancing, I called few of my hometown crews n few other crews frm Mumbai to participate in this event n demonstrate Battles. Few of Mumbai's finest Breakers.....were sitting at the Judge's table for the Battles. For DJ-ing.. a professional in with all the generes was at his Console, Scratching his turntable fr da Evening. He also mixed some serious stuff at da battles for the competing crews which even made the crowd rock the floor. for MC-ing n Beatboxing d-town's finest rapper was there showcasing his talent. So there u saw what Break It Down was all about. I think this event promoted Breaking to the full extent in Dombivli. This was da 1st biggest pure breaking Event in da Suburbs.....
Break it Down explained about Hip-Hop as in what u need to know about Hip-Hop? Why is it like a culture or community more thn simply a dance Art? what does Hip Hop consists of? All that was answered . same pattern will follow this year n the upcoming years.....
Stylz of Beyond crew will alwayz try to take ths event to a next level...
n will make Break it Down better n better each n every year covering the whole nation....
