It’s been more than a decade when I first visited Dharamshala in Northern India and heard the music of echoing in the valley and his music has been a part of my morning routine ever since.

Prem Joshua is a German musician and one of the original indo- western fusion artist from the 1970s. He learned to play the flute at the age of 5 and the saxophone since the age of 12 in various local bands. At the age of 18, he traveled to India studying the indigenous music of countries along the way. Joshua was the name his parents gave him, he later was given the prefix "Prem" from his spiritual master Osho, to remind him of the essence of Love.

I have been lucky several times to see him performing live at & decided to paint a part of his creative Journey as a Thankyou for bringing inspiration to the World for more than 5 decades.
After all as an artist myself, this is the best I can do :)

And all I wanted to do was to paint a mountain peak on at-least one wall of the house wherever I lived. 🏔

Having raised up in the beautiful landscape of Dehradoon, India, I have a natural fondness towards nature, mountains and stories from faraway lands. My name is Apurva, I am the soul behind every thought and creation which you will be seeing on this page.

I love to explore nature, places, cultures to feed my creative energy and as I travel, I paint my thoughts/moments and later convert them into products which can become an expressive part of somebody’s home. Currently I am making signages, nameplates, wallprints, etc and take custom orders for unique people and occassions.

As quoted by Vincent Van Gogh, “Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.” SoulSong is all about those small doses of happiness which keeps us warm from within.
