Founder & Artistic Director - Gaurav Sumrani TheCulture Studios, established in March 2015, is all about bringing the culture of dancing, the culture of sweating it out to learn the fine art, the culture of bringing the new & contemporary techniques of various dance forms,
back into the lives of people, who have somewhere on the way, in their crazily busy lives, lost the zeal and energy to dance! Gaurav Sumrani, Founder and Creative Director of TheCulture Studios, former instructor at The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy, choreographer, and a passionate dancer, believes that dance is about stepping out of your comfort zone, doing things you thought were impossible, and HAVING FUN - all at the same time, and his endeavor is to make this possible through TheCulture Studios. Gaurav has been through an eventful journey in his dance career - from a student at The Danceworx, to a teacher, to a company Choreographer and Performer, Gaurav has had the opportunity to learn and work with some of the most eminent international teachers from dance industry, including Ashley Lobo himself. Post his stint with The Danceworx, Gaurav moved to Mumbai to explore the land of Bollywood, where he worked with renowned choreographers like Vaibhavi Merchant during the first ISL opening, Artistic Director Mayuri - a famous bollywood and South Indian movies choreographer, and performed in various Bollywood Award functions and shows. He has also choreographed a Television Commercial Ad for the famous beverage brand Fanta. TheCulture Studios is currently running classes in following dance forms : Jazz Funk, Lyrical Contemporary, Ballet and Bollywood.
