I'm a studio jeweller based in Vasant Kunj, Delhi. I make both artisanal and art jewellery using sterling silver and am inspired by the world around me. The changing seasons, the vibrancy and colour that nature brings into our lives, human relationships & bonding and a bit of activism, all find expression in my work. All the work is conceptualized and handcrafted by me in my studio and is one-of-a-kind and limited edition.

The last quiet man from the He was a quiet man series. I was coming to work after 16-17 years of abuse mostly from my family, relatives, 'friends', a religious cult and many many more pile-ons that kept getting added over the years. Some amplified my life without my consent because they stood to gain from it, some continued to beat me up into silence. Naturally my life and my artistic practice has suffered over the years. I'll be 50 next year, with no hope in sight of any side letting up and never having been allowed to live my life without others either feeding off it or suppressing it. My mental, physical and virtual privacy has been breached and broadcasted for many years, again all without my consent, to either control and abuse me or to provide opportunities for others. But no one has ever called out the abusive wretches who breached my privacy or the broadcasters. Hence, the last quiet man, as the entire series has become a target of abuse for a quiet person and their personal choices.

Today I found a description for what I do- Urban contemporary jewellery artist. I make mostly one of a kind and very few limited edition pieces which are conceptualized and handcrafted by me, mostly in sterling silver.
I don't believe in dry days and the only wet days I know generally involve creativity boosters like rum and wine.
I'll be 50 next year. I returned to the bench last year after almost 10 years of no production. So here's to better days, when sales are allowed to happen and an adult's consent is taken and acknowledged.

I don't believe in dry days and the only wet days that I know of.
I'll be 50 next year. Here's to better days.
BTW the coaster is of a vintage cadbury's ad with a toddler eating their chocolate.
