A wonderful session, Storytelling with Paper: Exploring Shape, Shadow & Space, was conducted at the National Museum as part of the workshop series.

Facilitated by Ms. Yasha Srivastava, illustrator and visual artist, this three-day workshop encouraged participants to become storytellers, weaving their own narratives through the creative use of paper. Museum Ki Parchhaiyaan: A Museum-Based Shadow Puppetry Workshop, was held at NM as part of Workshops. Facilitated by Ms. V. Aarti and Mr. Adheep Das,the workshop began with a visit to the galleries, where participants closely observed objects and selected characters that captured their imagination.

Using shadow screens, light, movement, and narration, the children created their own stories and transformed them into shadow puppets bringing their characters to life.
