“Echoes of Silence” – A Dual Exhibition at Jehangir Art Gallery

17th – 23rd February 2026 | 11 AM – 7 PM
📍 161-B, M.G. Road, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai 400001

Step into a realm where abstraction breathes and silence speaks.
“Echoes of Silence” brings together two powerful contemporary voices — Hemant Dhane & Vikas Malhara — in a compelling dual exhibition of paintings.

Hemant Dhane – The Thinking Hand
A fearless abstractionist who believes “There is destruction in every construction.” His layered textures and meditative silences unfold like peeling back the mind itself. A risk-taker who refuses repetition, feeding each canvas its own hunger.

Vikas Malhara – Immersion of the Formless
Subtle. Restrained. Profound. His works whisper rather than declare — where greys, blues, and muted earth tones dissolve into infinite space. Paintings that are not just seen, but experienced. Not statements, but states of consciousness.
