❤️
2 weeks ago, at around 11:30 in the morning, my world literally stopped breathing!
The phone call that I had been dreading since almost 10 years probably came.. and even though my mom hasn't been keeping well for a while, i just dint want her to go! Who does? No one wants their parents to leave them.. she dint remember much but she was there
When I met her last in March, i had an entire conversation with her.. what I was doing, people on my life, friends, family.. a whole lot.. maybe she understood nothing but I am certain she knew
The night before she decide enough was enough, I spoke to her and told her I love her.. those were my last words to my mom! She definitely has been the love of life
I always felt I had a different connection with my mom.. it both scared me at some level but protected me at another.. she was my rock, my strength, my protection, my love, my world, my everything! Was seems so weird.. she always will be!
Last 2 weeks have been hella weird, staying the house which she made into a home but she isn't here.. I can't call her, can't touch her, can't trouble her! Now nothing can.. but i can talk to her and i do! I can't help it
The road ahead is tough, the grief comes and goes and then comes crashing again.. sometimes I feel she is in a better place, sometimes i feel what about me? How am I supposed to find my centre?
While i navigate what is going to the most horrendous thing I need to come to terms with, I also would like to thank everyone who has been with me.. friends, family, ppl I hadn't been in touch with but they came to see me, actually came to pay respect to her coz most of my friends, colleagues have been to my house in Delhi.. and she welcomed them and all.. she has met my friends in Bombay and she was always chatting and chilling with them!
That was my mom ❤️
Her passing has made me realise a lot.. i will one day speak about it.. not yet but soon! For now, i smile through the tears remembering how she always said I love you too back to me 💓
