The Skipping Girl leaps through Nalini Malani’s () universe as a symbol of fragility, resilience, freedom, and enduring hope. This work, along with other stunning works is currently on view, titled, 𝙊𝙛 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙣,’ is curated by Roobina Karode () and presented by KNMA (). The exhibition features 67 animations and more than 30,000 drawings, and the title goes beyond borders, religion, or culture to point to the truth – we’re all born of woman.

The exhibition is presented at Magazzini del Sale, a 500-year-old Venetian sal warehouse as a collateral event at the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia .

Kader Attia () announced as the Curator of the seventh edition of Kochi Muziris Biennale () by the president of the Biennale, Jitish Kallat () recently in Venice. The Biennale’s first foreign curator, Attia is a French-Algerian artist, art educator and curator at HfbK-Hamburg. His practice spans installation, sculpture, film, and archival research.

Having developed a body of work that brings together artistic, anthropological, and philosophical inquiry, as the curator of the seventh edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Attia will begin a process of curatorial research and dialogue towards developing the framework for the 2027–2028 edition, with Kochi as a vital point of departure within a wider field of artistic, historical, and contemporary inquiry.

Attia was selected by a committee chaired by Mr. Kallat. Its members were Shilpa Gupta (), Amrita Jhaveri (), Pooja Sood (), Tasneem Zakaria Mehta (), Mariam Ram, and Rirkrit Tiravanija ().

The National Pavilion of India () returns to the 61st International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia () after 7 years with a stunning showcase, 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚, curated by Amin Jaffer (). The exhibition brings together 5 powerful contemporary voices - Alwar Balasubramaniam, Ranjani Shettar, Sumakshi Singh, Skarma Sonam Tashi, and Asim Waqif - inviting reflection on home and belonging.

The Pavilion is presented by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India (), in partnership with NMACC (.india) and Serendipity Arts Foundation ().

COME WORK WITH US – We’re hiring for multiple positions!

India Art Fair is looking for a MANAGER and an ASSOCIATE in our Digtial and Communications team to join us in New Delhi. As a Manager, an ideal candidate will be a dynamic and meticulously organised individual with 3 – 4 years of experience in marketing, PR, and communications — ideally within art, culture, or the creative industries. As an Associate, needs to be motivated and detail-oriented with at least 2 years of experience in communications, digital media, or a related field.

These are roles for individuals who can craft thoughtful, engaging stories about artists, exhibitions and the ever-shifting conversations that shape contemporary art, culture and design. Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential.
