Hey Freshers💃🏻
So, finally here is a chance to be a part of Cyclone Dance Crew- The Western and Street Dance Society of Dyal Singh Evening College, and show us your rythmic moves.
Cyclone Auditions’ 19 is finally on its way. Get excited, tie up your shoes and show us your moves at Auditorium on 10th August 2019 at 11:30 AM.

RULES OF THE EVENT:
1. The dance performance should be of minimum 1.5 minutes and maximum 2 minutes.

2. All dance forms are allowed.

3. All kinds of songs are allowed, the participants must carry their song in a pendrive (audio format- mp3)

4. Usage of props are allowed, (if any) please get approval of your prop from any core member of the society in case of doubt.

5. Judging criteria will include choreography, confidence, expressions, stage utilisation, props, innovation and creativity.

It's that time of the year again, when we let the beat control our bodies and set the stage on fire with our raw passion for dancing!

*Step-Up* is back again in 2019 with a variety of competitions!

Events :-
1. *Me And My Shadow* (Western Solo Dance)
Steal the spotlight for all yourself and make the crowd your own with your bold moves. It's your time to shine with just you and the stage!

2. *Squad Stomp* (Western Group Dance)
Showcase your unity and perfect sync with your army of dancers. With the spirit of oneness bring your ensemble to the forefront!

*"RULES AND REGULATIONS"*

1) Following our Instagram page is mandatory for every member to get registered ( We have all the time in the world. We’ll surely check).

2) No on the spot registrations.

3) All dance forms in western categories are allowed .

4) The participants must carry their song in a pendrive with audio.mp3 format.

5) Queries about props (if any) can be sorted with any core Cyclone member.

6) Judging criteria will include choreography, expressions, costumes, stage utilisation, props, innovation and creativity.

7) The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

8) Only 2 members from each College are allowed for the western solo dance competition and one team (consisting of 5 to 25 members) is allowed for the western group dance competition.

9) The time bound is of 3 to 5 minutes for the western solo dance competition and 5 to 7+1 minutes (including stage setup) for the western group dance competition.

10) For solo performances, each participant is required to send their recent dance video which should be of minimum 2 minutes. Participant will be selected on the basis of this video.

11) For group performances, each team is required to send their recent dance video which should be of minimum 5 minutes. Teams will be selected on the basis of this video.

The results of the shortlisted team will be declared on our Instagram as well as on our page.

The annual cultural fest of Dyal Singh College (E) brings to you a plethora of events to showcase your talent and participate in. Hosted by the Art and Culture Association along with the Student Union of Dyal Singh College (E) , this 3 day event is the 30th episode of Rajnigandha.
