Synopsis: Based on the teleplay by Reginald Rose. 12 men serving on a jury must decide, after hearing the trial and final arguments, on the life of a teenager who is being prosecuted for the murder of his father. It is a matter of life or death. What will their verdict be? And will justice triumph?

Old World Culture presents a unique creative collaboration between Opera conductor Evegny Bushkov & the Symphony Orchestra of India (SOI), composer Airat Ichmouratov, Dadi Pudumjee & the Ishara Puppet Theatre Trust - WHEN LAND BECOMES WATER. This visually stunning extravaganza was commissioned by the NCPA for its 50th Anniversary. Based on the stories of the great flood in Indian, Biblical and Mesopotamian mythology - no matter what cultural barriers separate us, the timeless tales here show that in the end, we are all the same, let us celebrate what we share, Let us rise above our differences and celebrate our diversity.

Synopsis: This Dastangoi presentation on the great Karna engages with the original Sanskrit Mahabharata and Persian, Urdu, Hindi and Marathi writings on the life and times of one of the greatest heroes ever produced by Hindustan Jannat Nishan. The Dastan draws upon the Razmnama, the Persian translation of the Mahabharata commissioned under Akbar, the 300 year old Urdu verse Mahabharata translation by Tota Ram Shayan, Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Rashmi Rathi, Shivaji Sawant, Intizar Husain, Irawati Karwe, the Quran, Urdu versions of the Gita, and several other writings.
