Bandish

Bandish 'Bandish' is an institute to give basic training in the field of Kathak (Indian Classical Dance) Bandish was founded in 2010.

It is an institute which provides basic training in Kathak, a form of Indian Classical Dance, to children above the age of 5 and to adults as well. It is located within the Bangiya Samaj building in Chittaranjan Park. Bangiya Samaj is affiliated with the Bharti Kala Kendra, Lucknow. The students are regularly given opportunities and platforms to showcase their talents through festivals organised b

y Bangiya Samaj and Annual Days. Through these programmes, students not only get a chance to learn the main dance form of Kathak, but other dance forms like Folk, Rabindra Nritya, Semi-Classical etc.
