Art. Stillness. A room full of heart
When met Shunyata, silence turned into story. You weren’t just watching art, you were the art.
An evening that felt like a pause in time — wrapped in art, stillness, and soul.

Among kindred spirits and glowing canvases, we wandered through silence and color, story and self. The air shifted with ’s presence — artist, poet, diplomat — who brought Shunyata alive through word and vision.

As the sky outside danced in hues of gold and rose, we journeyed inward — exploring form, emotion, and the vast quiet between thoughts. The Emptiness Meditation held us gently, like a whisper in the dark.

A sip of healing herbal tea. A room full of softened hearts. And then Abhay’s luminous talk — part philosophy, part poetry, all presence.

You had to be there.
A big thank to for hosting us! And a shoutout to our drink sponsor .sober for the evening

An old rendition of life in Rajasthan, probably during 19th century. Notice the diversity of clothing, specially pay attention to the woman in the background. However, this picture highlights a visual sensibilities of Western (European) gaze on other cultures the colours, lighting and textures feel very renassaince style. Even though the subject is Indian society yet the painting feel very European, specially the ones they used to paint in the churches. Such depictions inspired the Bengal School of Art—a powerful resistance movement that sought to bring back a sense of "Indianness" to Indian art.

Let it remind you that even in the face of external influences, the spirit of a culture can rise, resilient and unyielding, to reclaim its rightful place in the tapestry of human expression.
