While honoring our mission to present and support the very best in the world of dance, the Centre has been the incubator for artistic development of young talent. The Centre through its various projects is committed to provide the arts in the city with an independent and informal forum, where artists can connect to exchange experience, opinion and establish a constant dialogue between their art and the public.

For ten joyful days, our studios came alive with rhythm, laughter, curiosity, and endless energy. From discovering new movements to building confidence and friendships, every step became part of a beautiful journey.

Our Summer Dance Workshop brought together enthusiastic children and adults who embraced the joy of dancing with open hearts.

Guru Anirudha Das is now conducting Odissi classes at Natya Ballet Centre.

A distinguished disciple of Guru Durgacharan Ranbir, Anirudha Das is an accomplished exponent of Odissi with a deep-rooted command over the form. A recipient of the prestigious Guru Debaprasad Das Award (1993), he is also a Senior Scholarship holder, a Doordarshan graded artist, and has been empanelled by ICCR for international teaching assignments.

Having recently returned to India after a two-year ICCR assignment in Budapest, where he taught and promoted Odissi, he brings with him a rich global perspective along with traditional depth.

Natya Ballet Centre, New Delhi is presenting
DRAUPADI : An Indomitable Spirit.
At the International Mahabharata Festival / Mahabharat Samagam at Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal.

This landmark nine-day cultural festival was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, bringing together powerful interpretations of the Mahabharata from India and across the world.

Amid immersive dome theatre experiences, international performances, and epic narratives, Natya Ballet Centre presents Draupadi an Odissi and Mayurbhanj chhau dance drama that foregrounds the feminine voice of the Mahabharata: fearless, questioning, and timeless.

Draupadi brings the powerful feminine voice of the Mahabharata to the stage through Odissi and Mayurbhanj Chhau.
