Gratitude.
Yesterday, Silly Souls had the privilege of presenting “Krantigeet – The Spirit of Vande Mataram”, organised by Sangeet Natak Akademi in collaboration with CCRT.
When we learned that our performance was scheduled at the CCRT Auditorium, Dwarka, I was honestly worried. It is quite far, and I wondered how we would fill a 400-seat auditorium. But the overwhelming love and warmth we received from the audience proved once again that sincere theatre always finds its people.
Our heartfelt gratitude to Sangeet Natak Akademi for giving us this wonderful opportunity and to CCRT for their impeccable hospitality and seamless arrangements.
It was an honour to have Padma Shri Ustad Faiyaz Wasifuddin Dagar grace the occasion as our Chief Guest. His presence made the evening truly memorable.
A special thank you to our well-wishers Ashok Tiwari Ji and Shri Vijay Kumar Ji for joining us with such warmth and simplicity, and for adding grace to the occasion with their presence.
My deepest appreciation to our wonderful cast—Nishant Bharti, Hurmat Ali Khan, Rahul Raj, Kapil Saraswat, Kanishka, Gauri, and Ravi—for their sincere and dedicated performances.
Heartfelt thanks to our technical team:
• Lights: Dhirendra Da
• Anchor: Nitin
Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this production possible.
A special note of gratitude to acchaHimanshu Joshi and Ashish Sharma for designing and supporting us with the poster.
Finally, my sincere thanks to Pawan Jha, Neelesh Deepak, Vijay Singh, and Sanjay Baloni Ji for their constant support and encouragement.
Every person associated with this production contributed to making Krantigeet a memorable experience. My heartfelt gratitude to all of you.
With gratitude,
Priyanka Sharma
