Madhavi Sitaraman and Vaishnavi Sitaraman together are called 'Delhi Sisters' and both of them are an erudite academic aficionados mingled with the soul of Carnatic Vocals and both of them are child prodigies yet hailing from musical family. ious dias, organizations and at various prosceniums and even featured at some of the popular music festivals, some of them are even featured at prominent television channels one such highlights SVBC TTD Nadaneerajanam. Both these duo sisters have been performing concerts all over the country under this banner and are the recipients of numerous awards and have also won prizes at various music competitions and at concert competitions. They have been an active part of the Annamayya Padayagnam musical project a few years back and got certificate from them. Also alongside, Vaishnavi learned Hindustani semi-classical vocals and she participated from her school and bagged numerous prizes at the zonal and district competitions by the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi. Some of their noteworthy performances highlights here at Sree Ramaseva Mandali (Bangalore), Bangalore Gayana Samaja (Bangalore), Shanmukhananda Sangeetha Sabha (New Delhi), India International Centre (New Delhi), Delhi Tamil Sangam (New Delhi), Fine Arts Society Chembur (Mumbai), Thyaga Brahma Gana Sabha (Chennai), Narada Gana Sabha (Chennai), Indian Fine Arts Society (Chennai), Parthasarathy Sabha (Chennai), to name a few here. Their first performance was at the age of 14 and 17 respectively and there was no looking back! By virtue of their penchant for arts, Madhavi has also been an active cultural coordinator of Delhi based arts and cultural organisation GAC Foundation, a social impact initiative in the cultural capital for the youth and children and she has also written articles and contributed to different magazines. Both are a talented artist too, they are proficient in various artworks and have even bagged many awards and appreciations to name a few such as oil painting, mural artworks, mandalas, acrylic painting, water colours and pencil sketching. In the year 2008, Madhavi’s art was recognized and even won at on the spot competition conducted by National Rail Museum Ministry of Railways Rail Bhavan, New Delhi and was even displayed at the exhibition, she won bronze medal third prize when she was barely a mere child of 7 years old studying in school grade 2 at that time. Both Madhavi and Vaishnavi have a considerable interest in artworks & painting. Their natural talent for art is since it's inceptions has fine blossomed into a passion for good photography and clicks wherever they enroute. And the gamut of their photography encompasses their interests in art, travel, music, nature and wildlife.
