Balasaheb Nathu Chaudhariโs artistic practice is rooted in memory, materiality, and the evolving language of abstraction. Beginning his journey with collographic embossing, he developed a distinctive visual vocabulary that explores depth, texture, and the interconnected rhythms of nature and human experience.
In this work, Chaudhari presents an abstract aerial perspective of his hometown. A landscape shaped by mountains, heritage sites, and rugged terrain. More than a geographical representation, the artwork becomes a repository of personal and collective memory, translating lived experiences into layered forms and tactile surfaces. Through paper pulp and textured compositions, he evokes the beauty, fragility, and continuity of life, inviting viewers to navigate both place and remembrance.
