This is a collection of eight short stories based on marriages or couples and madness, as evident from the title.
At first I was considering it to be another book about cheating spouses or just some cheesy stuff, but no, this is a work of art! The stories are simple yet deep. They talk about ordinary people, and totally believable or actual situations, and peculiar endings to each story. The stories talk about the complexities of marriage, the differences, the fights, the regrets, the need of communication, forced decisions and disagreements, and the retaliation. I love reading short story collections, so it's a great one for me.
The language is easy to read, the book length just a few pages above one hundred . This is a book so well-written, a quick and easy read, leaving the reader with a lot to think about. The stories appear so simple, with general themes and day to day events, but events in their married life described in such a beautiful manner that one might relate things with their own life! These stories are a display of emotions, the insecurities and the uncertainties in a relationship and the human life! So real!
