Kamar's art explores the relationship between the vastness of the cosmos and individual consciousness, using minimalist aesthetics to convey themes of transcendence and collective unity. Central to his work are the symbols of trees, floating bodies, figures in prayer & meditative postures, feathers and boats and more — these representing life’s interconnectedness, resilience, and spiritual growth, and symbolizing the journey of thoughts and existence across emotional and spiritual landscapes. Through a contemporary, reductionist approach, Kamar’s art encourages viewers to reflect deeply, fostering connections between the self and the universe, while advocating simplicity and introspection as pathways to societal change.

Since its establishment in 1952, Jehangir Art Gallery has been a prestigious venue for artists to showcase their works. Located in Mumbai’s renowned Kala Ghoda district (Pincode 001), the gallery will host our upcoming exhibition featuring five exceptional contemporary artists.
